#HacksHackersPrague lineup for June 18
The second meeting of Hacks/Hackers Prague takes place Wednesday evening, June 18. David Klimeš is hosting this event, which will take place at the Charles University Faculty of Social Sciences.
We have a great program lined up.
Here are the confirmed speakers:
- Michal Ischia will discuss the leaked New York Times innovation report. Michal is digital media coordinator and editor at RESPEKT.cz.
- David Klimeš will discuss how Czech journalists present themselves on social media. David is a journalist and teaches at the Charles University Faculty of Social Sciences.
- Zdeněk Němec will talk about what web APIs are, where they are, and why you might want to care about them.
- Holman Romero will give an overview of Sourcefabric Citizen Desk, a tool for aggregating, verifying and publishing citizen journalism
- Michaela Rybičková will present the Czech edition of The Data Driven Journalism Handbook. Michaela is community coordinator at Fond Otakara Motejla.
- Karel Tinl will speak about the use of drones in journalism. Karel is the editor-in-chief of IHNED.cz.
- Nuno Vargas will talk about using empathy as a process to design news products. Nuno is a designer, journalist and a former Knight Fellow at Stanford University.
